I recently stayed at The People in Belleville for a week. The hostel's location, nestled between two subway metro stations, was perfect for exploring the city. There were plenty of nearby restaurants and food stores, including a vibrant street market with a wide variety of delicious options. The hostel's lounge area, complete with a cool bar and arcade games, was a great place to relax. I especially enjoyed the outdoor seating patio and themed nights of drinks and happy hour. The clean and comfortable bunk beds, friendly staff, and pristine bathroom facilities made for a fantastic experience. Plus, the rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of the city, including the Eiffel Tower.

The rooftop view was great and the beds had curtains for privacy, which was a nice touch. the location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and several good food options nearby.
The lack of a proper common area meant it was difficult to meet other travelers. the bar was open to locals, making it feel less like a hostel and more like a regular bar.

Spent Christmas at a hostel in Paris and it was amazing! Loved the fact that they offered free printing of boarding passes and concert tickets. The hostel’s location near the metro station made Christmas shopping a breeze. Plus, their rooftop and bar had the best view of the city - especially the Eiffel Tower. The staff is friendly, and the rooms were clean and cozy with personal lockers and bed curtains. The best part? They held a Christmas Eve party for everyone staying at the hostel!
While the staff was friendly, I noticed they weren’t smiling that much - but that’s no biggie. However, I wish they had a kitchen or a storage area for guest food since their pub meals can get expensive.
